The NMLRA is home to the Laughery Valley Campground with sites that suit any budget and camping style.
Looking for full hookup camping so you don’t need to leave your RV? Our “Frontier Heritage” Area lets you camp with modern comforts with a striking view of the pristine NMLRA Woods.
Wanting to camp out under the stars? Our Primitive campground is acres and acres of shaded campground perfect for unplugging and reconnecting with nature.

Electric only sites $30.00/per night.
Full Hook-up sites $40.00/per night.
Semi-Annual Campsites June $270.00

Semi-Annual Full Hook-up $360.00 for June (Frontier Heritage Campground)

Yearly Campsite (Electric only) $700.00

Primitive Camping
Primitive Camping is $50.00 for the entire Shoot (Sat. – Sat.) Tent/tipi and all camping gear need to be in the pre-1840 era.
$15.00/per night during the June & Sept. Shoot
Off Shoot Season is $2.00 per person/per night.

The National Spring Shoot will be held second full week of June and the National Championship Shoot will be held the second full week of September. The annual membership meeting will also be held during the Championship Shoot in September.
Retaining Campsites
If you wish to retain the campsite you held the previous NMLRA National Shoot, you must send the full combined fee of $540.00 for both National Spring Shoot and the National Championship Shoot. This pays for the reservation of the campsite for both shoots. For the National Championship Shoot ONLY, the fee is $270.00. Campsites may not be retained exclusively for the National Spring Shoot.
If you miss three consecutive shoots (June and September Nationals) you may not retain your campsite.
Unretained campsites are not assigned until after March 31. Please designate the area desired, size of camping unit, and shooting range interest. Fees are as follows: $30.00 per night per site (electric only). Full hookup $40.00 per night per site. (For up to 6 adults per site.)
