An Introduction to Social Media
For Muzzle Loading Clubs, Living History Sutlers, and Traditional Craftspeople.
We fast tracked this video because of the COVID 19 outbreak. The information to follow will be useful year round, we just wanted to get it out sooner rather than later because we know a lot of people are hurting right now, we at the NMLRA hope this helps!
Part 1 : An Overview
I’m not sure how many parts this series will be, we will be trying to cover as much as we can in each video. This first video will be a brief overview of some of the more simple things you can start doing from home to help make up for the closing of events this spring, and start building your online presence as a business.
We’re going to start with social media, from making your profiles to operating them with some best practices. Feel free to take notes, but we’ll have a lot of this information written out with links, worksheets and guides at NMLRA.org/resources to help you get started.
If you haven’t done much on social media for your business, this might seem like a lot of work, but please follow through on a couple of the videos and see how you like it. If it’s not for you, I totally understand, but the things we are recommending here do help.
If you have any questions about the videos or anything discussed in the videos, you can email me directly at media@nmlra.org. Your questions help me understand and adjust the information to be more helpful, your question might warrant it’s own video, so please don’t hesitate to ask questions.
Thank you and enjoy the series!
