Shooting the North Carolina Territorial

Founded in 1976 as Crosse Creek Longrifles, Inc., reorganized as Crosse Creek Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc., we are a non-profit organization serving our membership and the community by offering safe, well maintained facilities for the shooting sports. Our ranges are located in southern Cumberland County in the Gray's Creek area. Consisting of 4 ranges with distances from 0-300 yds, we have facilities for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery target shooting.

Membership in the club is available to persons meeting specific criteria as specified in the club's by-laws. A summary of the membership requirements is available on this website.

We sponsor monthly matches which are open to the public. Currently we hold matches for High Power Rifle, Black Powder, Defensive Pistol, NRA Small-bore, 3-Gun, CMP/Vintage Military Rifle, and CMP Rimfire Sporter. Check the Match Information Link at left.

We are affiliated with the CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) which was founded in 1916. We sponsor several CMP rifle matches each year.

Each year we host the NMLRA (National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association) North Carolina Territorial competition. Shooters from all over the Eastern US converge to compete against one another and to prepare for the National matches held in Friendship, Indiana.
