Alternate Range Use Information
The following is the basic information for sponsoring an event on the Walter Cline Range in Friendship, Indiana. More information may be obtained by contacting the NMLRA Office at (800) 745-1493.
Charges for NMLRA Members
$5.00 for first day, $2.00 per day thereafter per registered participant.
Camping fees are included for NMLRA members only.
Insurance also included for NMLRA members.
Charges for Non-NMLRA Members
$6.00 for first day, $3.00 per day thereafter per registered participant.
Camping fees will be charged at the then-current rate.

Requirements and Certifications
NMLRA reserves the right to refuse any alternate range use for any reason.
Proof of Insurability/Certificate of insurance must be provided to the NMLRA office, to the Director of Operations.
Collection of all fees is the responsibility of the sponsor of the event. Payment to the NMLRA will be made within five business days after the completion of the event.
Security Deposit required of $100.00 for both members and non-members. Deposit will be returned only after it is established that no damage has been incurred to the range and/or other facilities. Security deposit will be returned within ten business days after the receipt of the range use fees.
Range Use - All shooting events must have an NMLRA and/or NRA Certified Range Officer or as required. Compensation of range officer to be paid by the sponsor of the event.
Dates for range events will be published in Muzzle Blasts, provided they are sent to the Muzzle Blasts Advertising Manager in a timely fashion. Keep in mind that the magazine operates on a three month lead time and is not responsible for collecting the information. The information must be sent to the magazine at, P.O. Box 67, Friendship, Indiana 47021 and designated as information for the Alternate Range Dates Calendar. This calendar will list the event, sponsor, contact person, date and sponsor event fee.
