FRENCH & INDIAN WAR ERA 3PDR VERBRUGGEN STYLE BRONZE CANNON - Solid bronze tube is 34 in. long; 7 in. at the breech; 9 1/2 inches across the trunions; 2 in. bore; tube (barrel) is mounted on a custom built, solid ash carriage painted Spanish red with black trim authentic to the period. The 14 spoke, 41 in. dia. wheels have Texas bois d’ark felloes, hickory spokes, elm hubs, and heavy 3 in. wide iron rims. It has been kept indoors so is solid and sound. Overall length is 98 in. and width is 66 in.
Some correctly made accessories are included for display purposes.
The gun is very well balanced. One man can handle it easily on smooth, level ground.
Comes with as purpose built trailer with winch well set up for easy loading/unloading and transport.
